"I want to thank Tejas for the opportunity to think critically and creatively about books that inspired in me the richness of Indic civilization. I gained most of my knowledge through a Western lens. Only recently have I understood the historical magnitude the rich civilization from which I descend: thinking, building, and inventing when most of the world still lived nomadically.
Each of the books left me with pride in my identity as a descendent of Akhand Bharat. I would wake up dreaming new adventures for Queen Draupadi or thinking about Rama's decision making through ethical and moral that would make him purushottama, supreme among humans. I cannot wait to see DCF grow Tejas each year and witness the generations of Indian American children and young adults who will rediscover pride in their civilizational roots."
