Smt. Ushakant Thakkar, MD

Dr. Ushakant Thakkar, (Dr. Kant Tucker), MD Nephrology, is a recipient of the “Spirit Award” in 2009, from the National Kidney Foundation. He has a private practice in the San Fernando valley since 1980. He was on the faculty of UCLA, in the department of medicine. He is also the CEO of an outpatient dialysis company called “Kidney Center Inc.”, since 1985. He was on the Board of Directors of the National Kidney Foundation. He is also the President of the California Kidney Medical Group, one of the largest nephrology private practice group in Southern California.
