Guidelines for Detailed Abstract

Please read and follow the guidelines carefully to ensure that your paper is reviewed

Authors are invited to submit a detailed abstract of 500–750 words for consideration. The abstract should present the central idea of the paper in a clear, scholarly, and engaging manner while remaining accessible to a broad academic audience.

Purpose

The abstract should give reviewers a strong understanding of:

  • the topic and its relevance,
  • the main argument or research question,
  • the key insights, findings, or reflections,
  • and the significance of the paper for the conference theme.

Format

Please follow a standard academic structure, while allowing flexibility in style and disciplinary convention. A recommended structure is:

  • Title: Clear, concise, and reflective of the paper’s focus.
  • Background or Context: Briefly introduce the subject and its significance.
  • Purpose or Research Question: State the aim, problem, or question guiding the paper.
  • Main Argument, Findings, or Discussion: Summarize the key contribution of the paper.
  • Conclusion or Relevance: Explain why the paper matters and how it contributes to the field or conference theme.

Length

  • Abstracts should be between 500 and 750 words.
  • Submissions that are substantially shorter or longer may be returned for revision.

Review Considerations

Abstracts will be reviewed on the basis of:

  • relevance to the conference theme,
  • clarity of argument,
  • scholarly quality,
  • and overall coherence.

Here is a short submission checklist:

  • Title is clear and relevant to the theme.
  • Abstract is between 500 and 750 words.
  • The main idea or argument is stated clearly.
  • The topic’s relevance to the conference theme is explained.
  • Submission is reviewed for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
  • Submission format is a Word document or  PDF file (other formats will not be reviewed)
