Getting Here

Transport & getting around

The University of Houston is well-connected and easy to reach. Here are the most convenient options for getting to the conference.

By Air — Houston Airports
Houston is served by two major airports. George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is the larger hub (~30 min drive). William P. Hobby (HOU) is closer to campus (~20 min drive). Both are well-connected with rideshare and rental options.
Rideshare & Taxi
Uber and Lyft operate throughout Houston and are the easiest way to get to and from the campus. Simply enter 4450 University Dr (Friday) or 4455 University Dr (Sat–Sun) as your destination.
Driving & Parking
The University of Houston campus has paid parking available. We recommend arriving a few minutes early on each day to allow time for parking. Campus maps and parking details are available on the UH Parking website.
Public Transit (METRORail)
Houston's METRORail Red Line stops at University of Houston–TSU station, within walking distance of the campus. The Red Line connects downtown Houston and is a convenient option if you are staying centrally. See ridemetro.org for maps and fares.
